Writing a good story is an author's ultimate goal. Where do those stories come from? Many come from our own personal
experiences. Other stories come from
today's headlines. And the others come
from the vivid imagination of the author whose way with words paint a picture
that may have you holding on to your seat or cause you to want to play the
leading lady or man.
I write stories that make you think...that make you want to
jump into the scene and be a party to the experience so that you'll keep turning
the pages because you are thirsty for answers.
Writing is my passion and when I'm sitting in front of my computer with
my fingers on the keyboard, I'm suddenly transported to another world where my
characters come to life and dictate their story to me.
Having said all of that, I was wonderfully surprised when I
found out that I was nominated for the AAMBC Romance Author of the Year. What an honor. Whether I win or lose, I will never stray
from my purpose in writing, which is to give the reader a good story.
